These are always better and worse Overwatch 2 characters, according to the current meta of the game and what changes the patches bring. If you want to play with an advantage, you’d better consider your pick carefully.
The entire tier list is full of my bias and opinions, propped up a little by each hero’s data and stats. This is not meant to be taken as fact, and nothing will be explained in detail. Overwatch 2 is simply a game that’s hard to tier list due to the map influence, game modes to consider, team play vs solo play, and matchups.
There are a lot of moving parts, so the tier list is more general than specific. Continue reading to learn who is at the top of the Overwatch 2 meta! There are four tiers in our tier list: S, A, B, and C. The strongest characters in S, which is the highest tier. They usually have minimal counterplay and win most of the matchups, while not being influenced by map RNG as much.
Characters of the C tier, which is the lowest, are weaker and have several flaws. They are either map-dependent, get hard-countered by someone who is considered meta, or cannot adapt to changes in strategy very well.
