HoloCure, a hololive fan game made by Kay Yu, animator who worked on River City Girls, some episodes of Boruto and Netflix’s Castlevania, just went live!
HoloCure is a fangame that has gorgeously animated sprites, many references, and some banger music remixes all inspired by the Hololive group. Games like Vampire Survivors and Magic Survival had a big influence on its gameplay.
The “Heroes/Vtubers” you pick have a great range of unique active talents you may acquire and an “ultimate” ability, which distinguishes the gameplay from its contemporaries. The player may also combine two weapons with maximum levels to create a new weapon capable of even greater mayhem. Leading to a gameplay loop that is as fun as it is addictive.
For the past 4 months I’ve been working on a fan game project with a couple friends after being inspired by Vampire Survivors.
The game is completely free, and I just wanted to share it with you all, the wonderful community of Hololive and vtubers in general. Please play it to your hearts content, and if you enjoy it, please look forward to future updates!
This demo currently features only the HoloEN branch. In the future, we will be adding more stages, more weapons/items, and most importantly, the entire rest of Hololive. For now, enjoy all the memes and references I’ve jam packed into the game. See if you can find everything!

With 5 starter characters, and 6 additional characters that may be unlocked through the in-game shop (no microtransactions, just in-game cash) the game totals at 11 unique characters. The game presently has only one stage. All the characters are from Hololive’s English-speaking branch, but there are plans to add members from the Japanese and Indonesian branches to the game in the future.
